Financing

Flexible ways to pay for new doors.

New doors are an investment in your home's security, comfort and storm protection. We make it easy to plan — with financing for qualified homeowners, straightforward payment terms and discounts that say thank you.

How it works

Financing in five simple steps

  1. Free estimate

We measure, review options and give you a written price for the complete project.

  2. Apply

Apply through our financing partner — usually a short online application.

  3. Approval

Get a decision and review the terms, rate and payment before you commit.

  4. Installation

We order your doors and schedule installation just like any other project.

  5. Pay over time

Make monthly payments directly to the lender under the terms you accepted.

Ways to pay

Options that fit your budget

Financing for qualified homeowners

Spread the cost of new doors over time. Promotional and fixed-rate plans may be available depending on credit and the current program.

Cash, check or card

Many customers simply pay by check or card. A deposit at order and the balance at completion is typical — your quote spells it out.

Military, first-responder & senior discounts

A thank-you to those who serve and have served. Mention it when you book your estimate.

Phase the project

Start with the most important or most exposed doors and add the rest later — we will price it both ways.

Before you finance

Is financing right for you?

  • Look at the total cost, not just the monthly payment — including interest after any promotional period.
  • Compare quotes on the same scope. The door, glass, hardware and installation details should match.
  • Plan around storm season. Lead times can stretch in summer, so starting earlier can matter more than the payment plan.
  • Don't count on savings you can't verify. Energy and insurance savings vary by home and policy.

Important: Financing is subject to credit approval and is provided by third-party lenders, not by Threshold Door Co..

Rates, terms and promotional offers vary and can change. Review the lender's terms before accepting. Discounts cannot always be combined with promotional financing.

Questions

Financing FAQ

What credit score do I need?

Approval and terms depend on the lender and your credit profile. Applying takes only a few minutes, and we will share the lender's requirements at your estimate.

When do I apply?

After your estimate, once you know the project price. You can also let us know when you book that you are interested in financing.

Do I have to finance the whole project?

No. You can finance part of the project and pay the rest by check or card.

Can I pay in cash instead?

Absolutely. Many customers pay by check or card. Your quote lists the deposit and payment schedule.

Are there programs that help pay for impact doors?

Sometimes. When funded, Florida's My Safe Florida Home program has offered free wind-mitigation inspections and matching grants toward qualifying opening protection. Program rules and funding change, so check the official program website for current status before planning around it.

Will impact doors lower my insurance?

They may. Florida insurers must offer credits for qualifying wind-mitigation features, including opening protection, usually when all openings are protected. Ask your agent how your policy treats them.

Get a price first. Then decide how to pay.

Tell us which doors you want to change. Your in-home estimate is free, comes with a written price, and there is never any pressure to decide on the spot.
